The cool metal of the table still lingered on his flesh. He looked around the place he had been dropped off, it was the park. His body felt different but that was to be expected. He wanted to try it out. He wanted to see his new strengths...then he saw her.

Her day started out the same every day, well you really would have to say night since her skin could not chance the sun and burning. This adding more to the pale complexion of the blond, blued young woman that walked down the sidewalk. Clutched in her arms was pad along with two bags that hung off her shoulders, moving very little as she walked with slow smooth grace of young woman that had refinement of a Queen as she moved down toward to the park. Blue pale eyes scanning the area as she made her way toward her spot in the park.

Setting up took no time at all for her she done this since she was young, taking after her father in the art section. She didn't look for spot light, but she did at the same time. So she would her spot in the world of art. So there sat on the grass, jeans and tank top, blond hair pulled back in to a ponytail, leaving the 18 year old face free of her hair so she could see what she was drawing. Slowly, little by little a flower slowly started to appear under her pencil as she worked. So in to what she was doing, she mind narrowed on the object zoned everything around her, but what had caught her eye to draw.

The first thing he noticed about her was her pale flesh. It seemed to glow in the bright moonlight. The grace of her movements captivated his gaze and he found himself seemingly frozen in place as she sat down and began to take out her art supplies. He never realized that he was approaching her, he only realized that she was becoming closer and closer.

Before her stood a 20 year old male. His black hair was a scruffy yet organized mess. His jade eyes scanned the drawing she was working on and her lovely features. The jacket he wore covered a simple red t-shirt and he had placed his hands in the pockets of his jeans. His face was wrenched as if he was looking for the words to say something profound but all that left his lips was: "...Hi..."

She hear the voice of the male, saying something, but she tuned out his pressingly person until she finished the flower. Lifting her head and her paleness of her blue eyes to look at the male standing by her. "Hello." she smiled a little at the male. Moving to put her pencil down as she reached in to her bag that held her art supplies having her hand slowly wrapping around a dagger handle.

"Can I help you?" her voice so low it could been more of whisper then someone asking a question.

He looked at the flower and then looked towards her rendition. The drawing looked so life like and so beautiful. He watched her hand slowly sink into the bag and wondered what she was reaching for. Her body language had changed to very defensive, so he decided to show that he meant no harm. He removed his hands from his pockets to show he had nothing. He sat on the ground in front of her. "I'm sorry if I scared you...I just don't see many people out this late and especially someone that creates such lovely art..." As he shifted to sit comfortable a mark could be seen on his arm, the mark was fresh, it looked like a burn scar.

Watching him a little, to look down at her drawing to look up at the male to see him sitting down close but, not to close to give her room able to move. Shifting her feet under her self if she had to get away she could quiet easy. Pulling her hand out of the bag with color pencil in her grasp. "I'm a night owl." her shoulder shrug a little. She was still weary of the person sitting next to her. Not that she liked to meet people, but she had to be weary still of them for whom she is.

He tried reading her body language. It was hard to peg what she was thinking at the moment but it seemed that she was very weary of him. He figured that he should try to break the ice. "Me too, I prefer being out at night...oh...where are my manners?" He bowed his head a little and smiled up at her. "Good evening, I'm David, it is a pleasure to meet you." Her body language and behavior began to remind him of a friend of his that was confined to the realm of the night. He would wait to ask his question, it wasn't time just yet.

She didn't let her eyes leave his body watching to see that he was trying to make her at easy, but for some reason she didn't feel like giving the pleasure of being to nice to this strange male. Titling her head to the side when he introduced him self to her. She smiled some at the male to nod her head a little, "Pleasure. Violet Lioncourt." she spoke still soft when she first spoke to the male.

He thought of taking her hand as a poliet gesture but realized that she was still uncomfortable around him. He looked up at the moon and smiled to the sky. "I love the nights where the moon is full and the air soft..." He slipped his jacket off of his shoulders and now the mark was even more visible. The pale light made it seem fresher. He decided to spill his hand, so to speak. Before he spoke he took the time to look over her features and with that he decided to ask. "Violet...I know that we have barely introduced ourselves to one another but...are you a vampire?"

"It can be. But, some time the air can be dangers at times too." watching him a little take his jacket off he blue eyes watching his very move. Her hand moving a little toward her bag, dropping the pencil to reach once more in to her by his question. Turning her face to truly look at him. Running her eyes over him again, to shrug her shoulders some, "I might be." she smiled some at the male in front of her. "Then I might not be." why should she tell him the whole truth about her self. Her one thing her mother said, be human as much as you can be until you can't be then show them the true you.

He could feel her icy blue eyes running over his body. Again she made the move for her bag, thats when he realized that she must have something in the bag for protection. It could be a gun or a knife. From the way she held her hand inside the bag it was hard to tell. He thought for a moment and closed his eyes. He blocked everything out but the beauty in front of him. When he opened his eyes they were no longer jade but a sapphire blue. He looked her over again and offered a light smile. "Thats true you might not be but I only know two women besides you, whose hearts don't beat and their body doesn't give off much heat." He had to close his eyes again because the rush of information began to make his head swim.

At his assent of her in what he said, she blocked her mind even more then before she had around him, a small glare in her pale blue eyes. "you should know it's not nice to read someone unless you ask. For what you get in the end....'CAN HURT!' she sent to him a very strong mind blast of her power she could control of her own. It being if a person was at rock concert standing by a big speaker yelling in his head. And yet, she didn't answer his question for it seem relevant to whom she truly was.

His mind was already in pain when he felt her assault. The attack sent him to his back. It felt like someone was trying to split his skull in two. He clamped his hands over his ears but he knew the assault would not stop. He didn't want to fight and he wasn't trying to be rude but now his hand had been forced. He opened his eyes once more this time to reveal nothing but a midnight shade of purple. The vessels in his eyes had ruptured, filling his eyes with crimson blood and the blue glow of his eyes turned them purple. STOP PLEASE!!! His mind yelled back. The air around them began to swirl as he lost hold of his control. His body lifted itself to the air limply and she was hit with burst after burst of his pleas for her to stop hurting him.

Not even batting eye a dark shadow formed around her faster then anything seen for a shadow to move like one shouldn't. Trails of arms tangled out, flipping the male to the ground pinning him to the ground, blocking any shout he sent back. Not even a swipe of air she was standing looking down at the male, shadows climbing around her body if one wrong move on his part she could kill him with out a thought. "I would get a hold of your self if you want to live David. I have more power then you can ever touch or use in your life time." she smiled very evilly at him. "Being raised by hunter and killer you can guess or not guess what I can do."

His mind swam. It was getting harder to stay awake. The constant throb of pain in his mind wasn't coming from her it seemed. It was coming from his new programming. It kept yelling at him to attack her, to destroy the vampire. He kept a barrier up in his mind determined not to obey. His body was also aching but that was because she had him pinned to the ground. He could hear her speaking but he mind couldn't or wouldn't register the words. The only thing he could manage to say as his mind tried its best to shut down was: "Help...me...Litha..."

She looked at the male, not even thought of what she could do, yet she watched him thrash around on the ground. When she heard his voice, an evil smirk slide across her lips. "I'm sorry, boy. But, she not able to help you. Your, mind has been hot wired and let lose. The people who did this sure don't know how to program. I was wondering when the government would try to build on mothers mind control." smirking to crouch down by the male. "To bad they don't have me." she leaned down and kisses the male on his forehead. "But, they won't. Or any of my family." walking away to pick up her stuff. Turning to look at the male again, to flip a card to land on his chest. "You might not know what it's for. But, then you might." she walked away leaving her calling card with number.

He looked at the card. It was quite simple. All it had was her name and number that she could be reached at. The pounding in his head was beginning to fade away the further she got awat from him. He felt like going back to Aummann and asking for some clarity in the procedure that they had performed on him. He was told that it was going to give him back his life, not that he would become a puppet. He slide the card in his pocket and headed for the Y...or so he thought.
