Heh..................

[After much thought....she didn't like the dinner]

It was late, well not that late as some would think at this time of night. Only sound that was being made was that of a taxi driving by and taking some drunk home from the bar. She found, her mouth drooling at the thought of such tingly drink. However, she had already made her night stop for lurk warm drink. It was not the same as alive, but it was better then cold. Slowly her blue light eyes looked up in to the cloudy night sky, to blink a little as the mist rain fell around her making her red hair slowly start to come wet as well as her black jacket, and her black jeans. The only thing that was not getting wet was the t-shirt hidden under her jacket.

For once her mind was calm and clear of some many thoughts, as she dropped her head and slowly made her way toward the park. Yes, the child was sick, but she had that under control and once more out moving around the city. Spotting the park in front of her to slowly make her way cross the dead street to the opening of the park walking in.....

After leaving the Y he made his way to the park. It was an easy place to sleep for the moment. It would be mid-day before he could really make any money off the coins and what not. He saw a feminine form entering the park. He knew who it was but decided to leave it alone. If she came to him, she came. If not he wouldn't worry.

She walked along the trail to come to stop as she looked out at the empty field in front of her. Step by step her shadow blending with the trees shadows as she slide cross the darkness stepping out on to the dark field. The ground still showing burnt damage of something hit the surface with a might force. Reaching down slowly she ran her fingers through the dead grass, hissing a little as she pulled her hand back fast if she was in pain.

He could see her bend and then snap back as if she had been hurt. Maybe it was her conscience making her feel bad or maybe she was genuinly in pain. It really didn't matter to him either way. He decided that it was time to make his pressence known to her. "Looks like the land will never fully heal from our little lovers quarrel..." He spoke as he stepped from the shadows.

The moonlight hit his face and displayed the gruesome features that had been added recently. Apart from his new scars his once blue and inviting eyes had now become icy and cruel sapphires that gave no hint to his emotions. He stopped walking for a moment and then in less than the blink of an eye, stood beside her nearly breathing on her. "How has life treated you this past weeks?"

She had heard him behind her for while now her, looking over her shoulder at the male as he slowly made his way cross the field to where she was crouching at. slowly standing up as he moved over to stand close to her, a face giving away no signs of what she saw when she looked at him in the eyes.

She didn't move from her spot when he showed up next to her, only sound of her breath filtered through the air at his question. "Anna got a cold." her voice whisper on the gentle breeze that filtered between them both.

"I see...." He was unmoved by her words. His heart was more scarred than his face. He moved to face her amd looked into her eyes. He could see the slight twitch of fear that she normally crossed her face after their fight. Normally he would want to take her in his arms and apologize to her, but now things had changed. Clark had been damaged and it was possible that this was beyond repair.

A sharp filter of breath pulled in to her lips as her light blue eyes just looked back at him. Litha's eyes slowly ran over his face, to down a little to look back up at him, a puzzled looked filtered cross her face this time looking back at him. Reaching to tuck some of her wealth of hair behind her ear that the wind had blown in to her face. "Yesh..." was her only response.

He watched how her eyes moved. He knew people were disgusted by his new marks but this was different. It was a cross between being puzzled and concerned. He could almost see the wheels of her mind turning slightly. It was obvious she didn't want to attack. He decided to make a move. He reached for her hand and pulled it to touch his scars. "Go ahead..." He watched her face as he felt the soft and silky grace of her touch.

Standing there to jump at the quick move of his hand grabbing her to find her finger tips slide cross his cheek her hand cupping his cheek ever so softly looking back at up at him with questions, that she won't ask him. Somethings come in there own time, for everything has a time and place. She had locked her eyes with his again to run her hand to cup his neck in her palm looking at him tilting her head to the side ever so little looking at him, not speaking.

It seemed as if she had questions galore for him but she seemed to be holding back from asking. A part of him stirred lightly from its slumber and he softly rested a hand upond hers. "You can ask, I have no shame in telling you what happened. This is my atonement for the mistakes I made." He lightly took her wrist and moved her hand from his neck but still held it. His blue eyes never let a clue to his emotions slip.

"Atonement....? Your sins are nothing compared what I will live through." she whispered softly sadly this time at him. Stepping closer to him, her jacket scratching against it self as she put her self up closer to him. "And now? You think your self monster for all that you done?" her voice still soft.

Any other time he would have pulled her closer to his body and embraced her softly but today this did not happen. He stayed stone-faced and closed his eyes. " Litha, I did wrong and I deserved what happened to me. As for you, I am sure that you shall be punished but you have been atoning. Anna is proof of that." He opened his eyes and for just a moment looked like the Clark she had known before all of this happened. He took a breath. "Yes Litha, I thought I was a monster and I still feel like one. I did things for which I can never be forgiven."

She chuckled softly as her removed his hand from her hand softly to cup his cheek again to smirk back at him, "One child won't make up for the millions of lives I took, Clark. Not in million years it won't change what lives I killed with pleasure." stepping softly, her hand slide softly down down his cheek as she stepped in to the burnt hole around them. "I've lost so much, Clark. I've lost more then you will be able to stand or able to see what I felt. Even that glimpse you saw of my life was only half of my life I lived. I however, will always be monster. I was taught well."

he followed her slightly into the crater they had made during their fight. He reached and placed a hand on her cheek. His skin was rough but his touch was some what soft.

" I have never seen you as one Litha, maybe that is because of the veil you hide behind but I think it is beacuse you have changed. You were once a monster, once a slave, once nothing but now standing here before me you are a marvelous woman, a stunning beauty and one hell of a mother." His eyes were only soft for a moment.

Ever so easy her head tilted toward his hand at his touch, not matter how rough it still felt as care free as it did the first time he touched her like that. One thing, her body hummed low in want a power she had no control over, only able to push it away time and time again. It was always harder when he offered up his blood to her, it was that it didn't taste bad, it just wanted her to....

Blinking her eyes if they came lost by her thoughts, "Heh...and you won't if I can help it. Only twp people have seen that part of me." to find her eyes blurring some she felt tears it was of shamed that she lost to the monster. "And, I do the best I can with the child." her body shifting in her spot as she dropped her glaze from his this time, running her fingers through her hair.

He could feel her holding something back. He wasn't sure what it was be he knew she wasn't completely there. He gazed into her eyes, his skin still tingling from the sensation of her touch.

"Sadly I can't hide the monster have become. It shows on my face, its in my actions and even standing here its in my eyes." His cold eyes swept the park once more and then he looked back to her.

"Why don't we go somewhere more private...I'll tell you the story of these scars when we get there."

Hearing his voice to look up at him, to blink a little if rid of the tears that where just there, forever the mask she forever wore never coming down. Very few have seen the woman truly behind the mask, and few will ever know other then the outer shell she shows to the world. "It's not easy to hide the beast inside of a person. It's the persons action that give refinement of whom they truly are, Clark." her voice coming husky.

"Fine. That is fine with me." not even second thought of what she was doing she stepped up to his body pressing her self to the males body, her hands sliding up his arms as her arms wrapped around his neck. "Your pick." Litha whispered looking him in the eyes her still not giving in to question she wanted to asked or what she was doing to her self standing this close to him like this.

He looked down at her and soon they were leaving the ground. He took this time to pull her body even closer to his. He could feel her clutch to him. He decided to take her to an empty mansion not to far on the outskirts of Domino. He was still furnished and what not.

As he landed on the balcony and entered he thought that this would be the perfect place to live. He looked to her and invited her in. While she entered he lit candles giving the room a soft glow.

She just closed her eyes feeling the air flowing over her as her face buried in his shoulder a little to keep some of the air off her face. Soon enough she found her feet touching the ground to slowly open her eyes as she felt him slip away entering the mansion. She stood there turning to look out in the dark night, her eyes lifting a little to the breaking clouds to see the stars and Orion's belt shinning back at her.

Smiling a little to her self turning to walk inside the room closing the doors softly behind her watching the candle's shadows play softly cross the walls. Her eyes seeking out his own from cross the room, a glow filled her eyes as the fireplace came to life, weather if had wood or in it not, she had the power to control. "It's very beautiful out here. Sometimes I think I should move out to the country." stepping more in to the room, slowly pulling her jacket off to show a black t-shirt under it.

He looked into her eyes almost seductively and beckoned her closer. The sight of her in the tight black shirt excited him slightly but he didn't let it show. A thick question hung between them and he intended to answer it for her.

"Come Litha, tell me thoughts run through your mind before I begin my tale..." He extended a hand towards her as he moved backwards towards a large love seat.

Draping her jacket slowly cross back of chair as she slowly moved forward her hand reaching out to take his as she followed him to the love seat sitting down on the seat, a mischievous smile slipped cross her lips. "Ah....but sometimes words are not meant to be said, Clark. It's more of an action." reaching to push her hair out of her face, crossing leg over another to make her self more comfortable.

He leaned dangerously close to her and whispered darkly "Then show me Litha...were both adults..." He reached and brushed a few of her stray strands away as well. His eyes were focused into hers and it seemed like time was slowing around them, that all that mattered was the room and the moment.

Smile slipped cross her lips at his words, one hand reaching out to wrap around his neck pulling him even closer to her lips, looking him in the eyes with smirk slipping in her eyes, "Are you sure?" she whispered softly licking her lips just enough to wet them.

He smirked softly and leaned forward brushing his lips teasingly against hers as he spoke "Do you think we would be this close if I wasn't?" He lips pulled at hers and he began to kiss her deeply. He lifted her with ease and sat her facing him.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, kissing him deeply back, her tongue running out whipping his lips want to taste him again. Shifting her self to sit better on his lap, as deep filled groan left her chest.
